Mid-America’s origins began as a “hand-me-down” martial arts club located on Offutt AFB in Bellevue, NE. The club was started by Mr. Norris Domangue (East Wind Academy, VA) then passed to Mr. John Cammarata before being inherited by Mr. Aaron Cerrone who eventually moved the club off base into its present location.
Mid-America Martial Arts (MAMA) opened its doors Labor Day weekend 2003 with little more than a single wrestling mat and some punching bags. The school has consistently grown to occupy an 8000s/f facility in Omaha and a second location in Lincoln. MAMA boasts a thriving family-oriented student body and a successful competition team.
