Why Muay Thai Kickboxing?

Muay Thai is known as “King of the Ring” in kickboxing circles and the “Art of Eight Limbs” in reference to its use of punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. Training develops devastating power, speed and superb cardiovascular endurance as well as fighting spirit. Muay Thai training has been embraced by practitioners of a variety of self-defense, sporting, military and law enforcement activities.

Ajarn Surachai “Chai” Sirisute, warmly known to his students as Master Chai, grew up in Bangkok, Thailand and trained out of the Singpravaeh Muay Thai Gym under Ajarn Suwan. Moving to the United Stated in 1968, Master Chai became the first Thai boxing instructor to openly teach Americans the great art of eight limbs. In the 50 years since he has worked tirelessly to spread the art of Muay Thai through his extensive seminar travels and thousands of students and instructors that make up the World Thai Boxing Association. 
We are indeed grateful to Master Chai for his gift of the knowledge of Muay Thai.
