A well-structured routine helps foster discipline by embedding goal-oriented activities into daily life. This consistent engagement with tasks related to our objectives reduces procrastination and helps maintain a steady pace towards the goal.  An aspiring writer who dedicates an hour every morning to writing is more likely to complete their manuscript than one who writes sporadically or tries to do it all at once.

This allocation of time ensures that essential tasks are not overshadowed by less important activities.  A student who sets aside a specific time each day for study is better prepared, retains more, and is less stressed during exams compared to one who studies irregularly or crams.
